Small groups are on “pause” for the summer.  this was planned.  don’t be alarmed. They will resume again in september

Scott and Elizabeth met in the “College Class” of a large Foursquare church in So. California.  Their experience there was life transforming and instrumental in launching them into pastoral ministry in 1988, when they moved to Northern California to plant a Foursquare church.  In 1995, they resigned their pastorate due to an illness which threatened to take Elizabeth’s life.  After her recovery, they continued to serve in ministry in supporting roles until their move to Battle Ground in 2004.  They began attending CHC in January of 2005.  Their son Riley attends WSU Vancouver and is a part of AccessBeta, and their daughter Rosie is a Junior at Battle Ground High and attends Access.

Small groups have been an integral part of the Watkins’ lives and ministry since early in their marriage.  They have a deep conviction that these groups are uniquely able to provide a safe place for people to experience Christ’s love and forgiveness, as well as His power to mend, equip and move them along toward the destiny that He has for them.  Their own life changing experience in their college years has given them a desire to help young adults understand the heart of God for them; that He is for and not against them, that He longs to free them from entanglements of both thought and behavior, and that He is committed to releasing them into the life He has purposed for them.  Jesus loves us where we are, but takes us to where we were intended to be.
